Cravings...

i get major cravings.

for a lot of things. like, for Sneaky Dee's wings (mild), for All Dressed Ruffles chips, peanut butter (Kraft, low fat), pickles (dill, no garlic), fennel, sushi, and for really good coffee (Crema in Toronto makes a great espresso, and their lattes are f-cking turn-ons - i want to pour them in my pants). but last night i was having a serious craving for Jeff Goldblum.

so i popped in The Fly (1983), a movie i've watched dozens of times. it's awesome. i love it. it's so gross. GROSS. especially when he presses those blisters on his fingers and the pus shoots out? GROSS! but Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Seth Brundle? OMG. NOT gross! totally hot and nerdy and quirky and sexy... even with the hair situation. and i was totally getting my fix when i was watching him when he looked like this:

but then my quiver (and consequently my craving) started to waver when he started to look like THIS:

and then i totally lost my boner when he finally becomes this thing...

errr... (well, of course the film won the Oscar for best make-up. i mean, look at that...) anyway, i watched the film to the end (of course) even though my hot Jeff/Seth was no longer on the screen... (it actually gave me the same feeling as when i watch The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) - MORE BRAD! LESS OLD MAN/BABY!) i was thinking, MORE HOT DR. SETH! (but i guess they would have called the film Hot Dr. Seth! and NOT The Fly, right?)... there was a whole lotta pus and vomit and not enough Goldblum hotness to satisfy my desire, sooo...

quick thinking and problem solved!

i watched Jurassic Park (1993).

Dr. Ian Malcolm.

yes.

oh, f-ck yes.

Dr. Ian Malcolm is SO much better for cravings than Dr. Seth Brundle. my mistake...

the movie, too, is so wonderful. so muh fun. my favourite line? just before Mulddon gets attacked by a raptor, when he's being hunted... "Clever girl."

LOVE.

such great delivery.

but back to Malcolm. his laugh. his eyes. the way he flirts with Dr. Ellie Sattler. lucky bitch.

anyway, tonight i was craving a goal by the Vancouver Canucks... fuuuuuuuck. onto game 5.
